As you may know, we took over this company and resumed trading on 1 April 2014.  Regrettably, we write to advise that it has come to our attention since that time that there is an issue with the wing snaps on product sold since mid-late 2013.  That is, we understand a manufacturing fault puts the studs at increased risk of pulling off the nappy during use.


The affected nappies are:


  1. Minky nappies in the following colours: cookie monster, orange sherbert, plum pudding, berry parfait, sunny sky and eclipse.  Please note chocolate and patterned prints are not affected; and


  1. PUL nappies in the following colours: bluebop, acid drop, night lights, apple crisp, candy pop, mint shake and banana split.  Please note previous batches are not affected.


While not all snaps and nappies are affected, the issue is one which means the affected nappies fail to meet our strict quality standards.


We place a high importance on customer service and value our customers.  Therefore, while we have been advised we are not under any legal obligation to honour warranties offered by the previous owner (those warranties provided prior to 15 March 2014), we wish to extend the following offer to all of those who have purchased nappies which may be faulty:


  1. If your nappy has faulted within the warranty period (i.e. within 6 months of purchase), we would be happy to fix or replace the nappy without further charge.  Please contact us to have a courier bag sent out for return of the faulty nappy;


  1. If your nappy has faulted outside the warranty period (i.e. after 6 months from the date of purchase), then please post the nappy to 15 Burfield Place, Awapuni, Palmerston North, 4412 and include a return post bag.  We will then fix or replace the nappy without further charge.


  1. If your nappy is still within the warranty period (i.e. less than 6 months old) and has not faulted, but you would like a proactive repair done to ensure the strength of the snaps, then please post the nappy to 15 Burfield Place, Awapuni, Palmerston North.  We will then strengthen it and return it to you without further charge.


We are in the process of strengthening all of our stock nappies to rectify this issue.  To reassure you of our commitment to the BeBops brand and your ongoing custom, we will also be providing a new increased 12 month warranty on all nappies purchased from us in future.
